Goddard use to be one of the best kicks in the league and now I have to close my eyes when he pulls the trigger.

So happy to see him play more in the midfield, I was crying for it last week. He brings so much energy to team.

Must be a chance to make the AA squad of 40 - His stats and influence are top drawer for a small forward.

That's funny, we call Barrett 'Tiprat'.

As do most of the AFL supporters. Barrett really is the lowest of the low.

Whilst Walla is an excitement machine

Any fine person sitting in level 1 Ess reserve want to verify I yelled out kick goal of the year tippa immediately before the goal?

I keep telling my stunned mullet gf who at this point is not even blowing bubbles in response.

Looks like he intended to soccer the ball over that particular piece of grass, and SPS also deliberately decided to stand on that particular piece of grass. The two being in the same place at once is probably a coincidence... although why SPS didn't shepherd him or something I don't know.

If he deliberately nutmeg he'd him then it's the best party trick since Dempsey's back heel...I'm sceptical.

I keep oscillating on it. When you look at it frame by frame, it looks deliberate. He soccers the ball and skips around SPS simultaneously!

His second goal isn't getting enough love. Brilliant the way he stepped through two opponents and casually banged it in.

It was certainly intentional. Such a slight and fine little deflection - and he had the soccer ready to go.
