If we had a Bobby Hill, maybe.
Think McMahon is definitely in line to take Langford's spot who has been underwhelming this year.
We are not Collingwood who have their senior veterans firing. Many of our senior players are looking B grade across the board so we have to make some tough calls.
Edwards realistically is longer term if we keep him. Massively unlucky but doesn't really have a senior physique yet so still a long term prospect imo.
We definitely have to move on a few senior players now like the Hawks did.

his form is just further highlighting the ridiculous decision to resign jones for two and edwards off the back of an acl, this guys younger than both and will most likely not get an extension, unless a few of langford, wright, draper ect get moved on
If he keeps kicking 5 in the VFL we will keep him IMO.
Agree with Jones & Edwards.
I think there will be room to keep him.
Hobbs, Perkins, Guelfi, Lav, Goldie, Menzie, Gresham, Davey, Tsatas, Shiel, Cox etc could all be replaced IMO.
Maybe trade Draper & Parish too.

Surely ahead of selection compared to Langford
Langford is appearantly the forward's captain, we lack experience and he'll be cut some slack by attributing early form to injury so no, and I say that despite having wanted Big Mac to get a chance weeks ago.

If they want Langers in and they push May out we might as well just play Dylan Shiel
at this stage May is in Langfords forward spot unless your putting Langers on a wing and rotating him Forward when Wright is in the ruck you should not be giving Langers a spot
in terms of Mac i want to see him given a chance at senior level so we know what we have his only 23-24 and could fit in with our build but again there would have to be some shuffling

someone suggested that the two you mentioned (Edwards and HJ) may actually restrict us and leave us in the unfortunate position of potentially cutting McMahon again

The three have been down there together in the vision i saw against Freo when they shifted Wright into Ruck May was that deep forward
But May was also going up the ground at parts with Caddy

i would say wright and langers are basically fighting for the roaming 3rd tall spot, at the start of the year i would have said Langers was way ahead of Wright but now its vice versa.

A could definitely play Gerryn McMahon and Edwards as your VFL talls next season so I don’t see much issue
Langford vs Caddy as 3rd tall and if either can play another position is where it gets tricky.

how tall is he? 195+? the hands vs. frankston were excellent & certainly shows a lot.
wright & caddy have interchangeably played up & down the ground, and i reckon mcmahon could certainly play deep very easily. i’d be interested to see him get a game or two this year

Salary cap dump at this stage with his recent injury record.
Only players in our 27 and up group (as of the start of next season) that would get anything in a trade is Merett, Draper (Unrestricted FA so doesn't matter), Ridley (and if he gets another soft tissue this season forget about it) and maybe Redman if he plays like he did pre last contact.
