Interesting draw:

- only 18 wickets fell in 5 days
- in what appeared to be a good batting strip, Tendulkar made a golden duck and Lara only 4 runs
- after Dillon broke his jaw, Kumble was ruled out for the rest of the series, but the next day with his head bandaged up sends down 14 overs, gets the prized scalp of Lara, before flying home
- in his 34th test and 56th innings, Laxman finally manages to score his first test century against a country other than Australia
- Laxman went out hit wicket
- 3rd time in history that all 11 members of a team had a bowl in the same innings (India - 1st innings)
- in scoring 136*, the zippy Chanderpaul had a run rate of 26
- after beginning his test career with 0, 2, 1, and 13, Ratra has a day out and scores 115*
- 1st time in history that both keepers scored centuries

noteworthy: hooper now has 3 centuries in the series so far, the first time he's ever managed more than 1 in a series.

Sounds to me like the pitch was playing like a road over there. If that's the case, Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar would be even more disappointed they missed out.
