No one cares !! Well you will Round 2, i bet.
That is a 10% price rise this year, Joke.
I bet you Carps doesn't have to pay for his refreshments when he's at the footy. Nor Les' brother, he'd be on the high priced Cardonay.
Joke.

It's harsh, but that's about the going rate. Was $6 for a midstrength at the cricket Friday and it's $6 at the Glory.

Yeah, it's all Carpenter's fault.

Don't know if it is still the case, but Cougar and Dry's were fullstrength last year for $6.50. And free ice! :D

Carps sits in block 101 with the rest of us plebs, (unlike Gallop who was up in the hobnob rooms.)

If he's drinking he's drinking midstrength for $5.50 from a placky cup just like the rest of us.

I sat behind Carps in the Melbourne semi in '06, and he was awesome, getting right into it and conversing with fans about football in the breaks.

I would consider a flask, but I am not too keen on getting kicked out. I saw on Conan O'Brien the other night a new product that is spirits in flask sized bottles, but the bottles are like a thin hard plastic bag that you can tuck under your belt.

Brb lol,

Wow that is so awesome :D

Soz

Are you certain, I'm 99% sure they are midstrength. I'll bet you a can assuming we're at home week three.

Yes very certain Dom, definately full strength. The mid ones are a red can; these were green:p Possibly only for the NAB cup as I have never seen them sold before.

We take a kids drink bottle full of Bourbon...a thermos with some ice and a couple of 1.25 bottles of coke to matches :thumbsu:

Just fill the cup up with bourbon/ice/coke under the seat (Nobody knows whats up) and there you have 10 drinks at under $10 :)

The only way to go to the footy

Do you take any kids with you aswell? They do full bag checks in Perth, I reckon if I went through with all that stuff they'd be checking the contents of each item. Good idea though. :thumbsu:

A good trick for the cricket was to buy an esky with a tap on it, put half a bag of ice and a bottle of vodka in it, then just fill your cup up as needed. They're onto that one now too though. :thumbsd:

Maybe you should think about investing in a couple of kids Dom? I hear they can be pretty handy for that sort of thing.

Then during the off season you can use them as mules to smuggle some of Columbia's finest through customs.

Just make sure you give them a fair cut after you sell it at eagles training - because at that age the bastards are terrible little dobbers and you don't want to piss them off.

Well, on Sunday the woman just asked if I had glass or cans in my bag, to which I said no, and she let me through, didn't even check my bag or anything. They don't normally check the contents of bottles or anything, as long as they're plastic.
