In my predicted side I had him named at CHF with Balta down back.

Well you know we don't run the club like geelong. We like to experiment forwards playing back backs playing forwards and pure mids playing the boundary line following the miked up chicks. If I was Gray and blight I wouldn't sign a thing. If Gray didn't nominate he would be playing in the firsts for Ess silly boy.

Yeah but we supposably developing him for the backline so why not move Balta forward instead. Gee didn't he set the world on fire in the VFL unbelievable performance.

Plenty of time to sort all this out. Gray will still be working on things within his game that really good sides could possibly exploit. He is 21. If he is good enough to be in our team long term that is exactly what will happen, regardless of whether he is picked this week or next week or any particular week.

To include Gray in our defence you are leaving out one of Balta, Miller, Brown, Brown, Vlastuin, players who have earned there spot on the team over a longer period. Selection should never work like that. Let Gray prove he is better than one of the incumbents over time, he will only be better off for going through that process.
 
Would offer him a 2 year extension, as I see him as a replacement for Broad over the long term. Disappointed they dropped him after what he has showed over the last 2 weeks. Lets hope he doesn't drop his bundle in the VFL as I think the kid offers us something we don't have a lot of on our current list.

Mate first Blight was our best defenders in the early rounds than they set him up for fail playing him forward in the ruck than dropping him. Gray the same guy has come from nowhere plays 2 great games gets dropped for a crim who was useless in the vfl. Is that how you reward them.

What’s this crim shit? Stupid dumb comment. We are talking about selection integrity here and I agree both Blight and Grey are more deserving of a game at the moment than Balta, however, you do not need to post garbage like that to reinforce your opinion.

Why isn't he a convicted Crim sorry if I'm wrong. You might be forgiving but the climate of lawlessness we are currently facing oz wide I can not forget or forgive what he did.
 
Unsure why Your Royal Highness Balta got chosen instead of Gray, doesn't make musch sense.

I feel that they need to make it very clear to Blight and Gray that we are grooming them for our future premiership backline. While they may not lock down a position this season or even next, we see them as invaluable to our fortunes moving forward.

That does sometimes happen when they are sure its a knee also
But lets just hope its jarred or something like Sam Darcey where he is out for 5-6 weeks

Yeah I know that’s why I’m not reading a whole lot into it. He was walking fine but again, doesn’t mean a lot.
