Thought he played his best game so far on the weekend. Kicked 2.6 but the commentators agreed that one of his behinds was a goal, another hit the post and one had an unlucky bounce in the goal square after he played on an ran around Buddy style from about 55. He also gave one off to Dell from 25 out. Probably was the quality of 5-6 goal game against good opposition. Was second best for us behind Hams and just in front of Hunter.

Have a mate who's a trainer at the EFC, saying that there's word around that Joey is certainly in firm contention and if Hurls doesn't get up, might make his debut in the dreamtime game.

I'm willing to bet what you've heard is more accurate. Which sucks, because I seldom see anyone marking the ball at it's hblablablablabhlabhl....

I can't say I agree with that. I think he's a fair chance to either be included or not included in the senior or VFL side in the next round or any subsequent rounds. This has come from one of the players, who is also a trainer and is also the uncle of a coterie member who is also an assistant coach.

And, just to add in the standard line, *this may or may not be accurate, take it with a grain of salt, I could be wrong, but it is only what I've heard.*

Wouldn't be hard, they're a bit sensitive regarding Buddy at the moment.
It's pretty good to know you have a potentially elite forward who is IN LOVE with your club.
Not that they'd know.

Seconding this, he's already massive but he could easily put on another 20kg or so of muscle over the next few preseasons. He'll kill guys in a few years time, we're very lucky to have him.

Also he'd need two of our key forwards to go down before he'll get a senior game, he's has some injury niggles and they want to look after him as best they can.
