TAYLOR Garner's season is in jeopardy, with North Melbourne contemplating sending him for surgery after he suffered a high-grade hamstring strain at training on Tuesday.

Reckon that was a push in the back free kick?
Desperately unlucky, poor bugger

Probably did stuff all strength and conditioning over the break

Or not. Was always noted for his dedication to that.

I reckon not being around the club hurt more.

There was a player for Geelong, Paul Kilpatrick maybe, had the same hammies that just used to go ping.

Was a gun when he got on the park, body just wouldn't let him.

Poor bastard, just has no luck. When he finally gets continuity in his fitness, COVID comes along and breaks it.
My biggest fear was being away from a professional environment and without the constant support and check ups he needed, he was the most at risk when returning to training.
My next fear is Wood breaking down.

I honestly believe though Garner, Wood and Jacobs won’t be at the club in 2021.
And frighteningly I’m okay with that. If you asked me in Feb I would have said hell no, but you can’t miss what you have if you never see it.

They showed the specialised treatment he'd get, using specialised equipment, just to train. Take that away from him and he's cooked.

And agreed on Jacobs, Wood and TG.

End of an era.

I'm a bit the same. Time to say thanks, but bye.

Oh well, like the sea, waves comes one after another. Oh well, enough time and patience spent on these perennially injured....keep them on the side as experiments....for future prospect.

Since when does a player have surgery on a “hamstring strain”....generally only have surgery when it’s a proper tear off the bone.

Paints a pretty bleak future for Garner. Out of contract at the end of the year yes?

Big opportunity for Taylor, Wood and Hosie now.

Also hear Buddy has a similar issue although his isn’t described as a strain or a tear, his is a pain in the hamstring! So while we lost on one hammy might have gained on another given they are week 3 opponents
