People finally realising how ordinary he is

Cheapies butler is the perfect description
Good for a goal in the last quarter and does sfa else during the game

Send him to the twos

Bring in guys with hunger like he had when he got a crack in 2017

Baker and Bolton come to mind
They both deserve a chance at least to see if they can grab it with both hands

Neither George or butler are world beaters are not locks for best 22
We cannot afford to carry one let alone two of these guys and believe both should be sent back to reserve grade for a number of weeks to rediscover some form.

I thought Butler had the ability to be a better player that Castagna, but he just doesn’t give the effort required.
George makes you cringe every time he has a set shot, but apart form that he gives 100% effort for the game. Can’t say the same for Butler.
Not sure he will be best 22 for us again.

I was shot down for saying basically this in 2017/2018

George is better over head, faster, stronger and is always 100% committed

Castagna has shown determination and will power to get better. He clearly has made and effort to try and get involved in the game more and increase his contribution:thumbsu::thumbsu:

I thought his improvement was evident last night

Great pack mark of the footy in the goal square!

I wish he could recapture some of that 2017 form. I’m in disbelief on how he’s gone so far backwards since. Seems to be living in a figjam bubble.
So his serious ankle injury last year (similar to Ross) has nothing to do with it? Sheeze, tough crowd.

Should add, Butler even though missing the last 7 games last year due to injury still made the AFLPA under 22 AA team. Thats really going backwards.

I have more hope that Rioli can recapture some decent form than butler , just not enough quality posies for mine , he used to make every one count , all I can recall last night was being on end of a couple of frees

What are you talking about as he has been awful ever since that injury was well and truly heeled. Your behaviour on here is childish , especially when you quote old irrelevant facts that are contradictory to players current form.
He’s been awful and undisciplined .His excellent vfl form suggests he’s well over that injury, but he can’t go to the next level .

Yes, his ankle injury that occurred nearly a year ago has nothing to do with it.

Either he has been figures out by oppo defences, or he isn't putting the effort in that he was in 2017. More likely the second given he wasn't exactly doing anything unusual in the first place.

My behavior is childish, that's a bit rich coming from you.

What about 2018 efforts?

Still made the under 22 AA squad.
your taking an idea for a walk mate, it’s called the 22under22 not the AA squad
40 are nominated by the players assoc and fans vote on social media.
It’s decided and finalised in Aug.
It’s not the 2018 AA under 22

So the public have spoken. He was best 22 despite missing the latter part of the season.

No he was one of the most popular.
It’s who gets the most fans like Daniher’s mark compared to Howes.
If it’s done in July Aug how is it for the 2018 season?

Castagna used to bite off more than he could chew and try to be too flashy while Buttler used to stick the basics seems they have swapped in this regard
Buttler will try run and spin his way through 9 blokes instead of just hand balling to a open man

heck him off for good. Carrying this passenger for far too long. Ok when we are flying ****ing no where when the game is on the line. His little arrogant side heel goal v the dawks last year was as arrogant as ot gets
