Jetta needs to develop a tank so that he can have stints in the midfield.
I dont believe that he will be a gun player in the midfield ,but it will free him up from the forward line which can be a frustrating place for small players.
Jetta has good speed, peripheral awareness and is good at clearances, but needs to be cleaner when picking up loose balls. He often panics and fumbles ground balls when under pressure.

He was with someone else, probably from Essendon, but I didn't have my contacts on, so I couldn't recognise him.
I saw Leroy's tatts on his arms, then I thought "that guy has the same tatts as Leroy Jetta", then I thought "that IS Leroy Jetta".

He really doesn't appear to have that explosive speed with the ball in his hands. He looks quick when chasing but he hasn't been able to break the lines or burst away from packs, and doesn't appear to be that type of player.
Hopefully he can add some more consistency into his game and end up with about 20 odd goals for the year. With Davey back in the team there are sure to be some exciting passages of play in our forward 50 this year

I thought he was one of our better players on Friday night. He is gaining in confidence everytime he plays.
When he crumbs a ball inside 50 you can just about mark it down for a goal already, he is going to be one dangerous footballer for us.

His defensive side has definitaely improved, IMO we should see how he goes playing a role on Cyril this week.

His game on the weekend was an improvement on previous weeks, but i'd like for him to back himself more, he still looks nervous out there.

really worried that this bloke will amount to nothing, for us anyway. Would love to see him cement a spot in our side this year. I liked what I saw when he was running out of the backline for bendigo. He doesnt seem a natural ball winner and I think the backline will help him get into the game.

From what I am reading your team will have a larger element to the forward line with 2 0f Hurley, Gumbleton and Neagle and either Ryder or Hille is that correct? With Williams he to me plays as more of a tall lead up forward rather than a true crumbing player as do Monfries and Winderlich. That leaves the chance for a small crumbing forward to emerge. Will it be Leroy or is there someone else?

Everything stems back to this really. Too many times in the past he has chosen to give of dodgy handballs inside 50 when he should be backing himself and having a shot.

It's probably still Davey's spot to lose but if they both continue their form from the Eagles game we might be looking at Jetta taking that spot. Winderlich as you mentioned is more of a lead up forward but he can definitely crumb pretty well too. Zaharakis will play more football in the forward line this year with his goal threat.

Leroy was impressive against the Weagles. Haters can say what they like but i'm tipping a big improvement for him this year, solidify a senior spot and make himself a name at AFL level.
I think his aggression and determination looked to be right up on friday, lets hope he continues that on into the H&A season!

That punch out to Lonergan (or Monfries?, then the handball receive and delivery to Hilley was special (sorry Adam Goodes).
Very, very good vision to see that and touch and work rate to make it happen.
Few too many times he went the spot up inside 40, should be an automatic shot IMHO.
