Is a pretty good mark, surely we could use him as a target to exit the D50, would at least be a difficult match up for opposition as a 1 on 1 contest.

Having 4 options of Larkey, Darling, Duursma and Xerri is a luxury. Should be utilised, play to our strengths n all that

Did some nice things further up the ground in traffic and I think his pressure was greatly improved.

Could have had three goals, missed two very gettable shots. Kicking a clutch goal to keep us in touch will hopefully give him some confidence too.

Was impressive that he was able to put together a decent game without his overhead marking really being a feature.

Pretty confident he could have a big breakout game in the next month or so.

My god just play him. Play him the rest of the season. Play him in important moments and not so important ones. He is going to learn so much and develop so quickly and more importantly learn to love playing here if he has more moments to seize like last night. And I want him doing that at Marvel or Adelaide Oval or Optus rather than at Noel Spanker Reserve against the Werribee Tigers.

Just play him every game now, improvement isn't always linear he'll have some poor games at times but back him in he's class and belongs at AFL level.

I'm not like Nostra where I ignore reality and just back in favourite players and attack players I dislike.

I respond to what I see. Duursma was poor and I said as much. Last night he was better and I said as much.

I'm with the majority here, would like to see him get a run of full games in the 1sts.

I may add, that's what need Daniel to do more, play it and play it quick. I don't want to derail the thread too much, but far too often he slowed the play right down. He played this handball with urgency, and look at the result.
