9th or Last

what would you prefer

A solid season and to finish 9th

or come last and get the no 1 draft pick.

A few people were saying last for the draft pick but after 5 years of not winning i would be very happy to come 9th

your thoughts?

I would never want my team to finish last under any circumstances, there is no upside to that. Thankfully, we never have

In 2003 we finished last...got Cooney and Ray. 2005 we finished 9th, got Higgins, plus an absolutely heart breaking match against Melbourne in Round 21, at least in 2003 we were resigned to finishing last for a very long time.

Having said that, 9th has a bit more dignity in it, plus more games you can watch over the pre-season...
