A Canary Yellow Crows Cap

arrived in the mail the other day.

it is a shocking colour and cannot possibly be worn in public

what is wrong with a blue cap? if the problem is the new blue logo, put it on a white square

truly the ugliest piece of merchandise I have ever seen

They'll never improve on those yellow A hats they brought out in 92 or 93. They were gold (literally). I've still got mine and wear it when I'm watching us on tv as it brings good luck.

What about hats with clapping hands attached with the little strings to operate them? When did they go out of style? Never in my book.

Found mine in the post office box today. Ugliest thing I've ever seen. Tossing up whether to just bin it, or whether I can find some poor sucker to "re-gift" it to. Wouldn't do it to a friend and I don't generally give gifts to my enemies. Circular filing cabinet might win out.

Assuming this is the hats they are talking about, I went and picked mine up from the club, could choose which colour picked a blue one, but seriously I'll never wear it in public, it is the worst piece of members merchandise I have ever seen. Looks like they were made in about 2 minutes! Just left mine at my family's house probably just wear it in the pool, but even then I reckon it will fall apart in five minutes!

Compare that with the Norwood hat I got and it is like chalk and cheese and I pay a lot less for my Norwood membership.

When has the club ever given away something just for paying your membership by a certain date?

It's not what we get as part of our membership it's just a freebie so I wouldn't expect the caps to be anywhere near the quality of a Reebok or Adidas cap, for example.

I'm surprised people are complaining....

My 2 year old daughter looked great in it for a pic in front of the replica Goodwin locker on family day.

Would be interesting to see how much cash flow benefit they get from early paymetns vs the cost of buying 50 cent hats from china.

Perhaps forget the free hats and invest the cash in investigating how we can ensure Young doesn't miss three weeks of footy and we don't keep dropping players when their SANFL team has the bye.

i deliberately paid after the cut off and they still sent me a card for the cap, after seeing them today i kept it safely in my wallet.

Rather than give us 3 relatively cheap and nasty things in the cap, scarf (WTF is with the fluoro safefty vest yellow on it and th logo looks worse like that, they should have embroidered it in) and cushion and give us one decent thing. Surely they can get Reebok to make one decent members cap or scarf.

well that was miles better than these, but even that was pretty cheap in comparison to some of the ones you see interstate. For all those years we were aligned with Adidas and the Club never got them to do it properly. I suspect they had some involvement but wouldn't put their logo on something of that quality. The current ones reek of cheap Reebokness I must say.
