When I was in primary school I bought a book titled Victorian Australian Rules Superstars. It was published in 1978. In case you have never heard of it, the book had profiles of each club and featured a write-up on six major players from each club. These were the Footscray players featured:

Me too. I particularly loved it when he knocked Kevin Sheedy out at the then Western Oval after Sheedy had been giving Charlie Pagnoccolo hell all day.
Lovely bloke off the field.
