19 kicks, 3 handballs, 10 marks - he played a massive game yesterday against Brisbane who looked as though they might swamp us every now and then - but Scarlett and Egan were there to the rescue. Since you don't see the games, it was bloody freezing and wet for the first half - conditions didn't suit us (players and supporters) but this year we seem able to adapt to different conditions and attempts to close down our running game.

It was zero this week, he played on Brennan when they threw him forward, otherwise I think he was on Patfull. Either way he didn't concede any goals. Last week against Adelaide he played on Welsh and kept him goalless - again. The week before against St.Kilda he kept Gehrig to 2 goals and beat him pointless - again.
So nothing new, Scarlett's just doing the business every week.

My favourite player, does his thing week in and week out dominating the opposition. I feel this year he isnt getting the kudos he deserves, he should be the favourite for All Australian.

I see the blokes on the couch all said they had Matthew Scarlett in there All Australian team. Thats alright considering Gerard is on the selection commitee.
