I come before you all to speak on behalf of my fiancé.

She once identified as a Collingwood supporter but without much passion, but has now seen the light.

She watches and attends most Richmond games, she has excellent footy knowledge of all our players and her knowledge of the game and current issues is surprisingly good for a recent convert. She hasn't watched a Collingwood game since I've been with her for the last 3 years, apart from Richmond v Collingwood.

She regularly provides quality level 2 tickets from her work, she allowed me to book our engagement party on the bye week before last year's finals, she is a club member, she booked our wedding in the off season, and she has put the Richmond fixture on the fridge to check for clashes before making any social commitments for me. She also cooks a mean mushroom risotto.

She will raise Tiger children, and has allowed me to cover the shelf in Tiger 2017 related memorabilia, over the top of all our holiday stuff. For my birthday she bought me a signed Alex Rance footy and at a charity auction she bid on and won a Richmond logo’d Sherrin.

Has she proven herself worthy to be welcomed into Punt Rd?

She's just after your money.

my wife was an essendumb supporter when i met her. I took her to a dream time game for one of our first dates and bought her a bombers scarf because she didn't have one. She only knew a few of their players so she wasn't a hardcore fan but after about a year or so of taking her to games and watching games on TV she knew every player on our list and fell in love with the team. Then i bought her a tigers scarf and membership and that was the end of it! She had seen the light!

My Mrs was a Wet Toast supporter, but since we have had kids (who were members from the days they were born, literally), we go to the footy as a family. She tried to pretend she didn't support us, but she was more vocal than the boys and I on occasions.

All of a sudden, after our Move to Melb, she is now a member!!!

Only took me 16 years, but got her there eventually!

I didn’t let my ex cross over to the tigers because then she’d want to go to the footy with me.

Only when kids come into the world and she allows you to call the boy(s) after Dusty,Cotch,Alex,Jack or Richo.
For the Girls: Danielle(Mrs Hardwick),Pia Or Peggy.
She agrees then she is truely a Tiger.

Read the added bolded part of my OP, that is genuinely true btw.

Totally understand. Why get a missus that loves golf, footy or fishing? You won't ever get away from them.
Golf yes!!!! I’m not a fisherman but my daughters mother wanted to play golf so I foolishly got her a set.
3 rounds in and I threw them
In the drink.

I'll pay it. Welcome onboard Mrs Juss, and congratulations on a successful conversion.

Another case for consideration...

Took about 10 years for me to convince a friend to come on board. She's from NSW, so didn't have a club, and we shared a house for a while, and she kinda followed us then (although more because she knew Id be grumpy if we lost, so she kept track of results so she knew what she was in for).

Final straw for her...at her new job about 12 months ago, her boss was a mad Collingwood fan, so being the contrarian bitch she is, she had to embrace another club and thus got fully on board the tiger train just to piss him off...That we kept winning just made it more fun for her and as time went on, so did her interest (largely unknown to me). So come finals time, she and I randomly chat and I mention I'll be at a pub watching the semi, and to my shock she turns up in full kit and while she's hardly an expert, she knows most of the players and loudly proclaimed her support and love for the club to all and sundry (the word extrovert doesn't begin to describe her...I really do mean she spoke to EVERYONE and none doubted her support).

So...Spot on the train, or still just on the bandwagon?

Can not let the worlds collide. Footy is the sanctuary. If the worlds collide independent Sir_Loin dies

I must also add, and this part is genuinely true, she is open to naming our first son Rance James.* (I must delete this part soon as it's meant to be a secret)

Can relate to all of these. Wife was from a staunch Collingwood family, her dad used to threaten them with sleeping outside if they didn't swear undying loyalty to the Pies.
Still professed to be a Collingwood supporter when we married. Then we had our first child who has been a Tiger from birth and one Friday night we're watching Richmond v Collingwood and Nick Daffy hits the post and she cries "oh no"... she'd been converted and didn't even realise it.
Doesn't go often but watches the Tiges on TV when the son and I go.
Her dad is long gone but her brother has never forgiven her!

What are her **** like and does she give great helmet?

It's only fair that I let you know that there's been a bit of big thing called "me too" since your incarceration.

My mates a norf fan and his son said he’s changing to the magpies when he was about 5. Mate said that’s ok mate you can go for magpies. Then he stopped the car and asked him to get out because he doesn’t drive magpies fans around, and that was the end of that!
