No Nick Daicos.
 
Jordan Dawson, Sam Docherty and Nicky D all incredibly stiff to miss.

Weitering, Papley, Crisp, Tex, Macrae, Josh Kelly and Tom Stewart all fortunate to sneak in. Weiters, Crisp and Stewart didn't play more than a couple of good games between them in the back half of the year, Papley missed a lot of footy and only kicked 25 goals, and Tex/Macrae/Kelly weren't even among the best players in their position for their own team, let alone the league. Baffling selections.

Weitering making it is an abominable decision. He has been awful since he missed time with injury. Stewart should not be in it either with so much time out. Crisp lucky too.

Every year the AA selections are just a mystery. I think people get selected from memory and imagination rather than what is actually produced
 
Nick Daicos and Darcy Moore are stiff.

He will never live down his 1st half against Lynch and Kane Cornes is one of the selectors and he bags him all the time. Reckon also that Weiters has been ordinary and check his stats etc. and Moore for eg kills him and so too do others as well but it is pleasing for Josh and Maynard had to be in the squad and probably the team.

47 goals is great and all but there are 8 Key Forwards who kicked more goals than him
 
Darcy Moore defensively has given up most goals on direct opponents. Far better deserving players. Has been good offensively for us.

Nick Daicos is a joke not being in the squad. Had so many big moments in last qtrs of games that had he not been in the side we may not have made the 8! Certainly wouldnt have made top 4. He is also the one that generates the run off half back when we need to get back into a game.

Last year we finish 17th but on % and close games probably really a 14th placed team.

This year we finish 4th and if you look at % we probably sit as a 8-10th placed team. A big part of us being top 4 and not in 8 is a 19 year old who make things happen and gets us over the line. We are being smashed in clearances but winning by generating scores through half back/turnover. They are underestimating his Pendle like ability to see things happen ahead before other players and open up scoring opportunities.

Nuts that he is not in the All Australian squad. He has given us an outside chance to fluke a flag.

In short I think the player most likely to win the Norwich Rising Star has actually been under rated with what he has done.

Nick is rated below average 1 on 1 so if you are getting a below average rating for a category it may count for something. He is very outside with most of his possies being handed to him even though we know he is capable of winning the ball.
