I don't know if you can trace behaviour to a lack of IQ or not. But numerous studies have shown black people, and paticularly aboriginals to have a lower IQ than white people..

personally I think IQ means bugger all, but it is a well known, but hardly publicised fact.

Actually, there are studies quite to the contrary. The ambiguities lie in how IQ is determined or measured.

In conventional IQ tests, e.g. using pen and paper etc. it is true that white children will generally have higher IQ's than aboriginal children. However, when the IQ test is altered so that the tasks performed are more specific to aboriginal culture, such as art, logical thinking (the children had to figure out how to retrieve an item from various places with only sticks) the aboriginal children excelled over the white children.

So the average IQ of white vs black australians can be manipulated to suit either side, and is essentially determined by the way the test is formed.

Cultural confusion, social exclusion and physical isolation might be contributing factors leading to self-medication with alcohol to the point it becomes the norm. I'm not saying I'm heading up to the nearby park (people in Brisbane might know of this park in South Brisbane) to pass around a goon and sing songs of brotherhood with the Aboriginals there. I probably wouldn't be welcome, it ain't my scene and I'm not going to fix the social ills with such an action. But I'm not the twit who is stating that Aboriginals are, as a race, less intelligent than Europeans.

Funny thing. My brother drives a pretty expensive sports car. He parks it near the seats outside some shops in West End where many of the local Aboriginals hang out during the day. Despite it being a 15 minute zone he can park there all day without fear of getting a ticket. The parking inspectors are too scared to go near there, even though not one inspector has ever been touched. And my brother and his car haven't ever suffered a single scratch or dent. You have to laugh.

They are drunks, criminals and we let them get away with it because if we dont we are racists. Remember the Redfern riot? One aboriginal dies from stupidity so someone makes up some story about the police (seeing as he was a wanted person) and suddenly we have a huge riot. Its a joke and needs to be fixed. But we are not allowed to say there is a problem.

They abolished mandatory sentencing in Mr Crow's N.T because they saw it as a policy targeting aboriginals. Yet it also applies to everyone else and the facts are the reason they were being jailed was because they were committing crimes not because they were black. People were being set free with a slap on the wrist even after they had committed multiple offences. Aboriginals were even handing in their relatives who had committed crimes yet they were still being released under the law.

A bloke from schools aunty was walking home from work in a inner city cafe. She walked via Saint Kilda (Melbourne suburb)to to her car. She walked past a place called Luna Park. A group of Aboriginals youths bashed and mugged her. She beleives she was r*ped but this was never followed up by the police because she was too embassed/scared to egmit it to anyone untill years later. The next day, as always there was discared browns bag and spirt bottles.

No this was ignorant. All systems are racist in some aspects as they are set up by one race to build and protect what is important to that race.

One thing Aboriginal kids (indeed, all kids) need to keep them out of trouble is role models. People to use as a guide into adulthood. People like them who have achieved success in their chosen field to show it is possible to get out of the poverty-drug abuse-violence cycle. And yet our realistic friends here would deny them celebrating and highlighting these role models by canning the Aboriginal All-Stars games. Very big of you guys. Very intelligent.
