We're going through quite a bit of pain ATM in cricket, but the more it unfolds the more it reminds me of what PAFC has gone through in the last 5 years:
- both had peak periods.
- than had key players retire.
- both governed by boards unwilling to change.
- both teams guided by stubborn people unwilling to let go (Ponting and Williams).
- both have certain 'gold pass' players who are untouchable.
- both fail to give outside players a descent chance.
- both have downhill skiiers... no-one who battles it out.
Honestly... 98, 513, and then 5-134 (thats our top batsmen GAWN)!!!
Too many "Strokers" and not enough blockers.
