I think it's pretty good. Sepcially after this year. We'll know what to do...

Although it's not like we came out this year and boasted about winning the flag easily...we did walk the talk this year.

Guess we gotta do it even more so next year.

It simple, effective and to the point. No stupid words (like Carltons)
Pretty sure the prices have come down slightly for the type of membership I get, so thats handy, and clubs not excepting new scoial club members.
For Player Sponsorship, Development group costs $1350

It is a phenomenal slogan.

It actually focuses all the club's (and supporters') efforts on achievement rather than potential.

Saints Footy has now been defined as doing something.

In fact, if anything, every St Kilda supporter should pledge to not post again on Big Footy until next October, because we're all about action rather than words.

But I'd be the first to break that pledge, so on to the backburner it goes.

It's ok, the only reason I think it's a bit cheesy is because of an old maths teacher of mine used that phrase alot and it got on my nerves. A2R would know which math teacher I mean ;)

But yeah it is a bit more to the point, at least we aren't cooking a stew containing other teams...

nor are we a cartoon :)

Still my advisory committee (wife) has OK'd it for another year.

Don't you mean that your boss has allowed it in the "corporate budget"? :p

I also like the slogan as it builds a brand on its own instead of borrowing from other formats, and on the membership front I do believe I shall be joining the crew with thanks to catholic propaganda; Christmas.

"Carlton supporters, you can smell them coming"

and on the membership front I do believe I shall be joining the crew with thanks to catholic propaganda; Christmas.

Hearty applause for both of you! :thumbsu:

Hey guys, I didn't want to start a new thread on your board so I just thought I'd post this in your membership slogan one. Does anyone else find the St Kilda membership really hard to buy online? I'm so confused! I have an AFL membership and that was done through the post, but I'm buying my little sister a Saints one for her birthday and I'm really frustrated. Not only did they enter our address wrong when we signed up on Family Day, but now I have to go to such a big effort to correct it! They say log into the AFL site one but apparently my login wont work for it, or call up someone to help which I really can't be bothered doing. Why can't I just change it in my account.. surely that would be easier for everyone. And also - has anyone else signed up for the 52 weeks subscription to The Age? When does it start being delivered? It says in 'calender events' Sept 2010?!?! Either that means I won't be getting 52 weeks.. or that's when it starts?!?! Now I'm just praying that they don't put the membership in my name as I paid using MY credit card details. I found the whole process really confusing and poorly set out, I guess all I can do is sit back and hope they've done it right! :( Cheers.

You are right, and I would sign up over the phone rather than the internet.
Last December I signed up and paid for a family membership on the internet. They didn't process it until I rang up and asked after it, after everyone else on big footy had gotten theirs. They got the details wrong, even though they were correct on my receipt.
They sent the packs in dribs and drabs. Mine was missing stuff. Despite assurances and a different excuse each time I phoned, my daughter didn't get her pack in time for the NAB cup ( The memebers tent issued her a pass to get into the game we went to. ) Finally we collected her pack from the tent at the first game of the season.

I was far more impressed with the performance of the playing group.:D

I'm actually planning on going in and doing in person so that I can double check everything's fine on the day with the club, in the very least I should then be able to pick up the beanie. :p

So nows a better time than any I suppose. I don;t get the total alongside the quantity table in the membership + extra section. Is that meant to be a running total on cost, amount of goods or something else entirely?

As all I would be getting would be the Adult 11 & the beanie that's 2 things which I woul assume would be the quantity at the sub total (since the membership should come with the Age thing from what I could access of the .pdf, unless I also have to mark that as well) @ 2 for $200.

Looks like we'll be getting another scarf  .

Mind you, the wife might not be getting a membership this year, and might not be too keen on me getting one. She won't be able to fly back for many games this year...

#32kingcuz,

You'd be far better off ringing the membership department at the club and letting them sort it out for you while you're on the line.

I've never had any trouble but I get the same membership every year.

Considering it costs $603 this year (Adult 17, Social Club, Level 1 Reserved Seat) I think I'll be taking the $60.30 per month option.
