I really wanted to go with Tony Hall but he didn't really do much in his 17 games with the AFC. Beinke was next best for me at this pick.

Thats kind of the problem with some players, and as such am surprised that MD went for Carey so early. I rated Beinke in his time here, and as such rated him the best forward still in the draft, but not my priority at this stage of the game.

It was either VB or Stevo for me. I still need a bit of height in the forward line and could move Bock forward and put Stevo back, but my initial plan is to have Bock at CHB.
But I'm also in need of a winger and I love VB a lot.

Also, I might struggle with some of our earlier players that weren't around for long because I was very young when the Crows started and living in Vic I didn't get to see all of our games, so the memory of some players heights and positions is a little hazy.

Never thought I'd find another Eccles fan.

Also, I might struggle with some of our earlier players that weren't around for long because I was very young when the Crows started and living in Vic I didn't get to see all of our games, so the memory of some players heights and positions is a little hazy.

I honestly think if Eccles didn't bust his knee (IIRC) he would have played a lot longer here than he did. Once he came back, he was never the same. Mattner reminds me a lot of him.
