personally, i'm selecting them as if they were at the peak of their powers during their crows career - bugger their performances at other clubs, they don't count!! i gather others are doing similar otherwise w. carey would have been chosen already.
correct....:thumbsu:

How are you deciding who to draft? Do you have a strategic system in place or are you just taking the best player available at the time?

I have a strategic system.

give me mark stevens any day...(strictly on performances for crows, of course)

whoever drafted modra, cant remember who it was... take carey with ur next pick.

FF:Modra
CHF: Carey

cant see that losing too many games

C4L as FP said, it's only on how they performed for the AFC :thumbsu:

See what Gets, MD, Kimirocks, Vic Crow and you say but I was thinking it may be a good idea about having a trade period at the end of the draft by negotiating player exchanges to help fill a position if you have 2 of the same type.

Like say you draft Peter Vardy, Mathew Bode and Troy Bond but need a CHB maybe you can go Bode for Caven.

See what other say.

I don't mind having a draft period. To be honest, based on what's happened in the fourth round so far I would LOVE a trade period. :p
We should probably wait a bit longer so package deals can be done though. One for one swaps are unlikely to happen because one team involved will have had the chance to have taken the player that is on offer with the same pick they used to get the player they're been asked of. If you get what I mean. :p

I meant after the 22 players had been picked. :thumbsu:

I like the idea of progressing as it is...but i can also see merit in a trade period (classic case of sitting on the fence!!).
if we have a trade period, maybe limit it to 1 per person. That might avoid someone drafting/stockpiling all the ruckmen knowing they'll be desired by others in the trade period and they can therefore ask above the odds - ie "I have all the ruckmen but I will trade you Ben Marsh for Darren Jarman or no deal"???
But maybe I'm overcomplicating matters ;)
