So get there early to make sure you get your spot in the Western Stand. The 2nd tier of the Southern stand is for overflow. You get there early then there wont be a problem. Or reserve your seat in the Western Stand.
Wait...I should have said Eastern,..not Western - doh. The equivalent of my current tickets, i'm told, are in the southern stand.

If your buying tickets on the day you'd have to go to the hill.

The pdf linked on the first page shows daily tickets will be in the top tier of the southern stand. However, I am sure there will be some daily tickets available at the northern end (general admission) too.

Would make sence that they would fill the eastern stand with season ticket holders and that some people want to stand on the northern mound with overflows to the southern stand.

on SEN Robbo asked Demetriou in a negative tone about the first game of next year being in Adelaide again and he answered along the lines of "No, what we have said is the first game IN Adelaide next year will be a showdown, weather thats the first game of the season I dont know, we haven't looked at the configuration of that round yet."
They (VIC media) get their knickers in a twist any time a Vic game isn't opening the season. I remember them saying crap like "now the real season/games kicks in" when Tigers vs Blues and other Vic team games were coming up and ignored the Adel/Ess and Freo/WC games like they were annoyingly in the way.

I noticed a lot of that "real season" and "what weve all been waiting for" after our game as well.

Back onto actual seating, as someone who recently moved to the country and gave up my season tickets because I will only be able to get to 2-3 games a year I really hope their are limited tickets available around the game as their are now. I was hoping to spend a bit extra on good seats when I can make it. I was dissapointed that their is nothing at all for anyone other than stadium club and members on level 2 as its my favourite place to sit at the MCG.
