Strikes me a few people are basing their opinions purely on Wilson last night on FC and Barrett's article today. I'd be interested to know if you listened to the segment yesterday, or his response this morning on MMM in Melbourne.

And I'm not sure what the addition of your opinions regarding Walker add to the conversation.

I commented on Monday that Ricciuto's time looks to be up. No club has a perfect culture and no one person is responsible for a whole club's culture, but the buck has to stop somewhere.

As does his commenting. Even though some of his comments were not incorrect, he's surely making matters worse.

He tries to claim they left only for money and that they had salary cap problems because they're at the top. That's plainly delusional.

It could only happen to us.. so typical. to get so close to a flag after 19 years in 2017 to completely fall apart is such a Crows thing to do. This club $ hits me to tears.
The internal and external reviews only got rid of a few problems but i think not until Chapman, Roo and Fagan are gone things wont change.. hell, I even think Tex needs to go. Should never have picked up Gibbs.. wasted pick 10 & 16 in 2017 on that spud and in 2016 wasted picks on Galluci and Poholke. I mean we picked up Poholke over Jack Graham FFS. Things would be different if we held onto Lever, Cameron and Mcgovern (Gov was decent at the crows)
Going to be a long 4 or 5 years for the Crows.

We picked Galluci ahead of Todd Marshall, Will Hayward, Jarrod Berry, Sam Powell-Pepper, Tim English, Brandon Parfitt, Alex Witherden, Patrick Lipinski, Shai Bolton, Sean Darcy and Tom Stewart. All of whom are inarguably better players now and will probably continue to be.

We also picked Poholke ahead of Mitch Hannan, Jack Graham, Willie Rioli, Luke Ryan, Nick Larkey, Harry Morrison and Mitchell Lewis. Again, I would suggest that they are all currently better players now, and will continue to be in the future.

This sums up one of the other problems at the Adelaide Football Club.

Whether he is into is not the point. It is behaviour that is unprofessional, unbecoming of someone in the position he holds and bordering on unethical. He is, unfortunately, the mouthpiece of the club in the media, and such comments reflect poorly on the club.

Roo is only guessing what they are getting paid based upon their agent’s negotiations with us. The only time you actually know is when you’re staring at a RFA offer or someone nominates terms prior to a draft. Need8ng $800k to stay at our toxic hellhole doesn’t mean they’re gett8ng $800k where they go.

He's talking about these players in retrospect. We wouldn't have too many on big money now, but 3+ years ago when we were gunning for a flag we did. Betts was 500K, no idea about Danger Davis Keath Cameron Lever Jenkins Sauce et al but many of them were on decent coin.

I actually welcome criticism, and most Crows fans acknowledge that Tredrea is actually very fair, but yeah I said it last year, the review was a sham and it's getting worse by the day.

The problem is that the club is insular, and completely unwelcoming of any form of criticism, especially from former Port players, even though most Crows supporters would acknowledge that Tredders is pretty fair and balanced in his assessment of football.

The review was just a PR stunt, and never intended to change how the club is run.
