First, let me say I understand there are different levels of membership for a reason, and that sites use advertising revenue to maintain themselves. It is largely for that reason I pay $20 a year to piss the ads off. So why do I now have to put up with advertising for Call of Duty: Black Ops, in the top bar of the site? Not impressed at all.

Platinum members don't get outside banner ads. The CoD header is just a replacement of a few images in the header.

Cheer up - it'll only be there for a week.

We have multiple threads on Black Ops with over a thousand responses. Lots of gamers hang out on BigFooty. It's a good fit.
