Miami really? Only claimed one MNF victory in the last seven outings against a team that took the Seahawks all the way.. Tampa won on their last MNF outing. Need to do your homework there DB. Start with page 506. Then turn to page 458 and you'll notice it's been 25 years since the 'Fins won in Tampa. Buccs are HUNGRY for first bite of the winning cherry.

Miami, with the week of turmoil they've had, with 40% of their starting OL missing, against a team that just took a 21 point lead against Seattle IN Seattle...

Ballsy.

To me, there's 4 stages in 3xko.

1 - Weeks 1 to 5 - Go safe at all costs to ensure you keep lives available and not get wiped out while NFL teams are still finding their groove.
2 - Weeks 6 to ~12 - You now need to take calculated risks. You need to be unique. Wrecking balls destroy the field in this period. You need to avoid them. So you need to take the risks to find obscure teams to get you through while the field is wiped out
3 - Weeks ~13 to 15 - Once the wrecking ball has wiped out most the field and you're down to single digit competitors, you go back to being safe. You're at the stage where survival is prevalent again. Safety to get to stage 4.
4 - Weeks 16 to 17 - The stupid showdowns begin. Entire structure changes, if you've made it here, it's a clean sheet. Tactics out the door, luck in.

As I'm at the tail end of the 2nd stage I'm still trying to find those unique teams to get me through. Look a the rest of my high CR teams. If I go Washington, out, if I go Tennessee, out, if I go Indianapolis, out. As far as I'm concerned right now, I've done exactly what I set out to do. Avoid the wrecking balls. Now I just have to sit back and see if I make the final 5.

And Woodson - The buccaneers played the game of their lives last week. They wont duplicate that, and even if they did, they wont be sneaking under anyone elses radar this year. If they do better than 2-14 I'll be shocked. I anticipate 1-15 out of them. (They'll beat Atlanta and/or Buffalo)

The best 3xko tactic is.....

Lose two lives asap. Week 1 or 2 if possible. Now with only 1 life left its real easy as you dont have to sweat it trying to pick three teams.

Depends on the year.
In previous years you want 2. 3 is too many as you have minimal choice and have to pick shit in some weeks. 1 is unsafe due to wrecking balls. 2 was desirable.

But in years like this, you need as many as possible. League is too 50/50 that you just have to win the battle of attrition. Others will lose their lives, you just need to keep yours alive. There's 10+ 50/50 a week. There's almost no certainties (beyond who plays Tampa)

Good posting... consider copywriting that 3XKO 101 transcript as it's great blueprint for many to follow.

I'm one of those guys that saw the high end potential in the Rams as an early season special pick (that's why they're still in my remaining TEMPTATION Toplist surviving teams) and I'm somewhat disappointed in myself for dragging them out of double digits this week.. had them @ 13 then to much 'over-thinking and re-tinkering' left me with a MNF swipe for shot @ HRS which I've actually got into. Who said I'm SOLD 100% on the winless BUCCS ??

Marklar_33 had a handy nineteen point jumpstart to Week 10 with the Vikes 14CR vs Broken's 5CR on the 'Skins but failed to capitalise. Broken trails Marklar by a couple points.
