JD could simply have all tips selected as AWAY teams by default... that way there is no "no shows". Those who forget already have AWAY teams allocated. It's up to each individual then to make changes and adjust the order or CR. Quite easy really.

But not in giving the cr value.

Unless JD adds a code that lists team alphabetically for the 16 down to 1

16 to 1 based on game order... TNF is 16 through to MNF with 1

Not sure about handing over $10 for missing one week, and then another $10 for missing a second week. One week could happen to anyone, so seems a tad harsh to be penalised for one missed week. Two missed weeks in a row, maybe.

As for that chance where someone could get all the Away teams and fluke an ND matchup, you just make it a rule that if you do not tip then you automatically lose, no matter what the score. You should not be eligible for a win if you don't tip. You will still get your points in the grand scheme of things I guess, but no Win can be credited. I understand though that this may cause more 'manual' headaches for Admin.

After half way.. that's when it gets taxing.. the ND will be in the home stretch and the CR standings leave a large gap between cellar dwellers and the Top 20.. Most AWOL totally forget about LCS and basically DZE/ 3XKO can be written off.

I think it's as simple as you can get GG. Like life in general.. you need car insurance if it's NOT your fault or not.. to be protected from losses. That's the purpose. I've found that last years NO Shows for TNF was too much.. averaged 4 per week after week 6.

In simpleton 1 for 1 comps, if you miss a week, you get a FAT ZERO. Others you get ROAD teams.. It's bad enough to cop a low score if you forget / overlook games but TNF is just as much a crucial part of the CR system. Why is it complex for those who don't want to comply to having a depth chart?

That's why subscribing is what makes this comp work better. Take that out and the NO show landslide in the second part of the year will keep on coming.
I know some are very dedicated to the AE and I highly appreciate that.. but last season's TNF oversights / NO shows in the last few weeks was increasingly more disappointing.

No Woodson it's not as simple as it gets right now. It's unnecessarily complex. And you're making it complex and complaining about how complex it is....and snubbing your nose at the far better PB idea + Manureid. Youre digging your heels in. AE is a tipping comp not something requiring tax and insurance FFS.

I've taken PB74's 3XKO idea onboard (tick that box) and like I already mentioned..

ROAD teams can have a solid week once in a while… could actually be that 'WRECKINGBALL WEEK' when player X forgets and gets the upsets and scrounges a GREAT score (I have no issues with that personally) but the ND is compromised as it's occured in the past that has denied Oscarman a play-off spot. Can't have AWAY teams and a possibility of a great score in any given week.

Pay $20 insurance for taking your depth chart for TNF - get 100% rebate at the end of the season for not claiming once, 50% for claiming one, 0% for claiming for then twice.

Do you want the AE insurance or not?

As much as it sounds like a massive cluster **** for January.. I'm already at it in other things during the year so it's nothing new to me. 50 transactions a day.. internet banking is ultra convenient.
