Hope not, better off getting a full game in the snaffle trial.

My thoughts on the Sub is they should be more an impactful type player than Soligo who is more the honest, diligent type.

It's not going to be Thilthorpe unless we lose a tall between now and the game you wouldn't think, I'd probably go Davis personally.

Perversely, I think being sub galvanised him and made him extra determined to perform when he came on.
He had an excited, determined look on his face when he was warming up, and performed accordingly.
I think he needed this.

He was keen and happy at the start of last year too, but by the end, including in SANFL, he had a morose and helpless look on his face.

Davis is an excellent sub option - it should certainly be a player that doesn't need game time to develop.

I was saying last year Mackay should have been the sub a lot more, Davis fits this mold.

It's cause he's in his 6th season and isn't a best 22 player. Not many get that many chances.

That is a valid point.
However Davis is talented and his current form in the trials recently is good.
