& for the benefit of AFC, independent means conducted by someone who has no current (& preferably past) connections with AFC. ie. Don't bring in another of your mates with the outcomes already pre-determined.

I didn't even know we had one, so why would I care? Unless people post on here, or actually read the paper, hardly anyone will even know about it. If it's the lead story on AFL 360 or something next week then we have an issue, but I highly doubt it's going to affect our image when barely anyone could give a stuff or will actually read the article.

We have an intergrity committee as a result of the debacle at Essendon where the AFL has demanded that all clubs set up structures to ensure that such things can't happen again. My understanding is Garry was appointed as a result of that. It is clearly a very important role and position. He was previously on our foundation committee.
