Looking at the Tigers injury list, and yes by number it’s large, but there’s ‘only’ like 5-6 first choice regulars on it and not currently playing. Like arguably nearly other club in the competition.

The rest is full of inexperienced mid-range players who are either untried or haven’t given them much in their careers so far.

Lynch? Taranto? Hopper? Graham? Yeah sure. Granted. Sounds like Grimes and Baker are right to go this week. But the rest? Really?

They will clearly come out in their home Dreamtime game this week and show a lot more than they have in the past 4 games combined.
That is true to a point, but others have just come back and have no form or continuity, Prestia and Balta for example, and others that have come up and taken their places are out as well. We have just 4 players who have played every game this year.

The injuries are basically our entire midfield, Taranto, Hopper, Ross and Prestia who is just back. Add Graham and Baker. And they have all been long/medium term injuries, that is rare. Take any 4-5 best midfielders out of any side and they will struggle, not to mention the best forward, and a pretty good one in Lynch.

Plus Richmond came up against two sides under the pump for underachieving in Dogs and Brisbane. What better way to run back into form than a real live training drill. At least Essendon are in form, so underachieving is our one hope...

That's 10 that have all been regulars this season when fit. I'm pretty sure they've all played every possible game where available :straining:

All those tipping huge margins clearly haven't been watching us.
yep, Richmond will come out breathing fire and with any luck we'll absorb it without too much damage and then put them away but I genuinely can't remember the last time we gave a side a proper flogging

Last year, a Richmond mod gave me a day off for posting "everyone will check to see if they play Richmond twice" in the game thread on this forum when they were getting smashed.

Nothings changed, lmao.

We don't have Richmond mods on the mainboard
