Thursday night prime time footy - Essendon V GWS.
Sunday night "dinner time/pack the kids Monday school lunch" off broadway footy - Adelaide V GC

Neve change AFL, never change.

Has Butts been formally ruled out? Big out if so.
Hopefully they give him to the last minute.

He spent an extra night in hospital and has to drive back home because he’s not safe to fly. I can’t imagine he’d be right to go.

Nick Murray has played four SANFL games in a row since his last injury, and would have been considered our no. 1 key defender in the pre season so I would expect he’ll come in.

Would be really shit luck if Butts loses his spot as a result, because he has been really important this year.

Collins should be back. Huge test for both sides, both in good form, you have to pick Crows due to being in Adelaide but I think it will be a tight contest like last time.
Will be an important in.

Yes, Butts has been ruled out for a while.

Floating fixture is to ensure big clubs like Blues & Dons play plenty of prime time games, so I need to turn off at half time.

This should be a cracker between 2 evenly matched sides, made spicier by needle late in the last game after some dumbfounding late umpiring calls.

Including the free not paid to Rankine in the dying minute (later apologised for by the AFL) which would have had Crows 2nd on the ladder now.

No doubt Suns got rub of green late in that game. But you could go just 30 seconds back when ROB clearly pushed Witts in the back in boundary throw. If umpires called free as they should there would be no Rankine no-call.

Something tells me Crows will get home advantage this time :)

Suns will miss Miller a big time. Suns played poorly in 2nd half against Magpies. IMO, not by accident, Magpies got on top when Miller when down. Miller's 2-way running is still underrated.

Crows by 26.

He’s out but Nick Murray the gun defender has been out injured, and will come straight back in.

Got to admit, at the start of the season I never thought a Crows v Suns fixture in the Sunday twilight fixture would be considered one of, if not the, game of the round... but here we are. It'll be interesting to see how the boys respond after completing the biggest win in our club's history just a few days ago. Sometimes that's a recipe for disaster because teams inevitably drop after coming off such a high, but every now and again teams lift again to pull off multiple big scalps in a row and it's really the beginning of something special. I'm hoping that's what happens in this game. We beat the Crows away this week and suddenly we're a potential premiership threat going into a massive QClash against Brisbane the following week.

I know the Crows fans and players will be looking for retribution in this one so it should be fiery. Let's go!

Every Suns game from now until Rd 23 is a huge game. They have to run the gauntlet to make Finals (4/6 games vs teams in Finals position).

Thursday night could produce scheduling issues with short breaks and all.

But surely the Saturday night Carlton Vs Melbourne 'blockbuster' could have been played in this slot.

Gotta lean towards the Crows at home, but the Suns are starting to find some form again after a mid season slump, and Walter and Reid particularly seem to have taken a step up in the past couple of weeks, so there is definitely hope.

Miller is a big out... he always destroys us ...

Best outcome for us is if we beat you and then you come out firing against the bears the following week and beat them 😀

Given how Rankine's kicked for goal at times this year, there's a chance he may not have even scored...

Literally 1 minute later you got a soft sling tackle decision that you gold from.

fantastic to see Dan Rioli hit his #200 game milestone..
Dan said he was hopefully Willie would be able to attend. He'll need to finish up his SANFL game for the Port Magpies and quickly race over to the AO in order to attend. Would be cool to see Cyril attend as well but that seems doubtful. First time a Rioli has hit the 200 VFL/AFL game milestone.

Now we know the real reason why Willie wasn't picked by Port. ;)

Collins not passed fit makes me feel more confident as gives us a significant advantage up forward.
