STATE OF PLAY:

• The game is out for Steam and PlayStation. There have been issues with Xbox release and it is unclear when the game will be available.
• Big Ant are aware that there are playability issues & bugs at present.
• Content has been temporarily removed from the game to identify where the issues lie.
• This content will be re-introduced via patches in the coming days.
• Big Ant have released a summary of what is to be reintroduced, which can be seen below.

Hey everyone look the BigAnt accounts are back to shitposting and attempting personal attacks (funny, don't seem to work as well now you're game's been exposed as garbage and all the fanboys have disappeared), but still won't post what the problem actually is.

How about let's start with a feature list. Since the game's out now you can't claim any of that 'not allowed to say' BS, so come on, what leagues are meant to be in the game? What tactics? What game modes? What stats?

Really hope this patch fixes ultrawide support. Currently the image is stretched when you set to 21:9 or it's squished when you set to 16:9.

I'll wait until these patches drop before I bother playing some more.

Given they explicitly said EA is their competition, not WW, they ask to be held to that standard. This game right now is WW level. Not even close to EA.

Big Ant stretched themselves thin by working on not 2, not 3, but 4 different sports games at the same time (Cricket, Rugby and Tennis + this). It is entirely their fault.

Yeah its not Robinson Crusoe in today's climate of deploy as fast as possible and fix along the way, unfortunately. They probably could have communicated it a bit better is all.

Just my two cents here

First off game looks amazing, crisp graphics. Well done to the design team who did the overlays as well
I feel that under all the issues , lies a pretty decent game. Once these are ironed out i feel it could be an amazing game capturing the feel of afl well.
The missing modes will come so not to fussed about that.
My biggest concern is the stats, stats are fundamental to this type of game. Im also not a fan of the way it just transitions to the next quarter after the cutscene. A screen showing score, top ball winners, goal kickers and other stats needs to show at each quarter, also allows you time to change the team around between quarters.
Can either ross or jntba let us know if this is something coming with the patch?

BigAnts marketing and the fact they use these forums as their #1 method of advertising is a big enough red flag.

Even more-so the fact they’re getting defensive towards comments and feedback just shows their professionalism.

Time for AFL to use some overseas devs.

What's the point of having super photo realistic player graphics when the actual gameplay takes place from a far angle.

The game needs leap forwards in game mechanics. Ground balls/aerial contests/tactics/blocking.

Not flying around the country chasing players for scans so the skipped cutscences look outstanding.

Funny thing is they didn't even do that, they just got the clubs to send in photos of players with a list of specifications on angles and lighting
