Then if they're not on at the end of the round you run the risk of them not being online again...

Too complicated. In my view scooter should be able to take his catch-up pick whenever he gets online.

I thought that was his catch-up pick for the 4th round, hence the "sorry guys".

And it was his pick in the 5th round at the time, which he still hasn't taken.

Now the question is, do we say that he's skipped it because he went offline without taking his pick? Or do we give him his 24 hours?
 
the pick he just took was the the one he had to take from before, as it is in pick order. So EA just stole his pick. Barry hall back in the pool and scooter has another pick.

it has nothing to do with that. Scooter took a pick, which by any independent observer was the pick from rounds back, and he obviously didn't realise it was his pick in the round order, and eagle ant tried to play the ignorance card to exploit the situation.
I reckon give scooter the 24hours, but on the condition that if he expires the 24 hours this time, the next time we have to wait, he will be booted. or have it that if anyone goes over the 24 hours, their limit is then 12 hours
FFS people, i'm all for fairness but if you don't have the time to play, don't sign up!
 
Calm down it is exam time and stuff, its not like we can all afford to f*** around atm, for alot of us its the business end of the year the only couple of weeks we have to knuckle and down and work hard.

EA's suggestion earlier on was pretty good, we set aside a few hours for the next game and have it all said and done in that day.

Say 10 teams, 220 selections can be done in 3-4 hours easy i reckon.
 
Sounds good, no more long, anxious waits over days, hoping a player will slip to your next pick, only for him to be taken just beforehand. Now that pain can be caused over and over again in a few hours! Just like the real draft!

Provided we pick a timeslot that suits me perfectly, I'm all for it.
