how we gonna match bids for the NGA players ?

If Hawthorn bid on Sweid (using a realistic pick as an example), we can match and go into a deficit equal to pick 29 next year BEFORE factoring in the millions of earlier bids. So we'll be fine there.

Don't think we're planning to march anything on Huss and hope he gets through to cat B.

He’s a f****** baller, most obvious player to succeed. People rating Sam Cumming over this guy makes my blood boil, Farrow has to be one of our picks. Robey > Farrow > Taylor > Sharp > Dovostan is the player order I want for us.

I am the opposite. I see Farrow get a lot of cheap ball but I never see him impact a contest.

Cumming to me is a competitive beast and will pull others around him into the fight. Same as Sharp. Farrow won't.

I honestly would hate to be a draft recruiter in our position, how do you even select 2 players in our spot. Like any combination you go with is quality but you always have in the back of your mind did I go with the right pick.

Its interesting do you go for talent and upside or culture setters and dawgs, it would make sense if you went the Taylor and Sharp route, then next year if we do finish in a low position, you just go best available and hope they’re A grade talent.

This one is easy for the first two picks. Assuming Duursma and CDT really do go 1/2 then you take whicher two are left of Robey, Cumming, Sharp and Taylor. We could use each one of them.

The 9 selection is where it gets harder. Dov makes sense structurally and we can pick for need here a little due to the above two picks. Farrow could be good here as well as does have big upside although I am worried about his competitive/physical nature from what I have seen.

Then i do think the Dovaston then L.Pickett small fwd has its place

Means we can pass on Sweid more likely if its too early a bid

3 small fwds isnt the worse if it comes to it, we only have Kako whos young and also looks decent

But if were definitely matching

Which seems hard unless were getting pick 43 and 46, which im not sure we will

Is 20, 23, 25, 26, - Actually yeh that should be enough

I suapect were getting both 43 and 46

If we do then id look at Grlj then O.Taylor at 9 instead

I hope we don't shake things up. Two of those top 6 available + one of Dov / Pickett / Farrow / Grjl is a great draft that improves the list. Twomey has said the top picks (Duursma aside) are all very even. No need for Rosa to get cute. Leave Richmond to Richmond.
