is this patch live? that's good news

is there a thread for online encounters? i went online once (PS4, last week) and played some guy who was sydney. saw he had paul kelly, then adam schneider kicked a goal then i quit. good stuff
 
My quick observation.......

Their little tweaks here and there made Legend even easier for me :D

There are some things I will have to adjust to. Their new implementation of marking actually mucks me up compared to how I marked the ball previously :(. I'm losing most marking contests by following their advice. Their tip with the blue marker works for me when I'm further away from the ball and the person the ball is traveling to (I'm able to win those contests! Used to be annoyed at the AI being able to morph from one corner of the sponsor logo on the wing to the other when marking a ball.... now I can too :D).

Some odd moments, glitches or just random occurrences ? I was going for a rough tackle, pushed the opponent in the back... meant to be their free kick (umpire even said it). Yet play continued for my team and we ran the ball away, wasn't brought back for the AI. Another instance I tackled the AI and instead of the ball popping out or trickling out, it's like the AI got the kick off.......... but the animation didn't make it look that way (basically tackled teh player to the ground without the kicking animation happening), the ball traveled from one wing to the opposite wing (incredible distance!!).

Which leads me to wonder (and assume) that some tinkering has been done to the ball physics ? It seems to float more and bounce a little more oddly. For the amount of time I've played it since released (and getting back into it again this past week after playing Injustice 2 for so long) it plays different to me.

Actually led the free kick count for once, but then again I am playing as the Doggies ;)

Patch feels good, it's cool to see the opposition use the bench for realism sake.

First JLT game against Melbourne scores were 21.7.133 to 12.5.77. Melbourne were only 2 goals down going into the 4th but I just overran em, gonna try the new challenging difficulty next game. Also good to see a realistic scoreline, makes me feel like I actually did beat em rather them have the other team kick 3.16 and think WELL, if they actually kicked em I'd probably have lost
 
Anyone else reckon the stats in the game are a bit hit-and-miss?

In some games I dominate yet I finish with barely any effective disposals, while sometimes the opposition will kick 13.7 for example, yet they only have 11 inside 50s?
 
Offically putting this game on ebay, this game was woeful and I actually think the improvements have made it worse

its a lot of fun once you master all the controls..

i don't buy a synthesiser expecting to just be great straight away innit...
 
So now the new patch has dropped hopefully player creations will take off any advice on were to start?

Team lineup in competition mode is broken.

Any changes made reset when you return to the menu. (PS4 on patch 1.02)
 
The game definatly feels more polished interested to see what 2B has

I noticed that too but thought I just stuffed up when exiting the team selection screen. The randomly picked team you get at the start of the next round just stuck after I made several changes..

And before I encountered that I went to start a new season with Melbourne- first game R1 v STK- click team selection and its St Kilda's team selection can't change Melbourne's lol. Even though I've clearly chosen Melb as Tactic's etc are all Melb. Simmed that game and was then able to change team R2 but got the issue above lol..

Yep, same issue. Can't edit my team line up in season mode

Good patch, only a few things to fix now, one would be the one on one nature of the game, some tactics to fix this would be good as every opposition has the same tactics

And also a better interface for stats in a game and start averages during the season

They count contested possessions don't know why you can't see individual player ones during game
 
Has anybody had a glitch where after a goal was kicked the umpire disappears at the centre bounce so the 2 rucks just stand there staring at each other endlessly? Only solution was to quit. Only happened once but was my first game after installing the patch
 
Need to fix the competition mode team line up asap. As Port I had Ryder, Gray, Wingard, Polec, and Schulz all unavailable. Now they're better I can't swap them back in. I'm stuck with the game's auto line up.
