JB selling now as well.I thought it was going to be released tomorrow so I pre-ordered it. Is EB Games the only play with an early release?

Looks like absolute garbage, so at this stage I doubt I'll get it.
Happy for you all to tell me how wrong I am once you've got it.

All the AFL games are trash.
Out of bounds. All the AFL games are trash.
It's what makes them great.
Surely it's not that hard to have an addition where expectations are set pre season. However for an automated Ai when all the teams ratings are so damn even then it probably would expect you to make finals....I took Calrton to 10 wins in the current season as coach and was sacked because we didn't make finals. I spent alot of time individually training all the players only to be fired and sent to the vfl to coach other teams for 2 seasons before i could get back into the AFL and i didn't even get to return to the blues. Game needs alot of patching to make it worth spending any more time on.
I work at a EB Games. We sold all our copys (atleast 90) within the first few days. I Don't know overall sales total but my district which is 11 stores had 350 pre orders. There are 400 stores across australia and it was a pretty popular walk in title and thats just one retailer, so i imagine they have made ALOT of money.Do we know of sale numbers?
20 years ago I was saying the same thing.Hopefully it gains enough popularity so that the budget and effort increases in production for the next one.
Yep. As usual the afl game has prepared a game like they have an EA sports type budget and simply fallen short across the board instead of doing as you've said20 years ago I was saying the same thing.
20 years on, and these muppets are sinking their budget into voice lines from channel 7 commentators and horrendous facial renders.
They should start with the game play on a reduced AFL licensing agreement, then work their way up. Today's Madden and FIFA were not built overnight, and the assets they need to build won't change radically year to year if they take a more methodical approach.
Then down the track they can focus on accuracy. I think everyone would appreciate a fun Aussie Rules game first, than a mediocre AFL game.
