I know, I had a crack at him in another thread. I just want to know why he's saying that. What can make him come to that conclusion this early?

i think botempelli with an 85 rating and say high potential to reach 90/91 would be fair enough, seeing as he is only a few years into his career. No point having him at 90 now because there's no way he has already reached his peak.

also there are a lot of great players rated 85 or below too

If you can edit your own rankings like past games then its not a massive issue
 
The rankings are pretty good i think, apart from a bunch of a grade 22yo's a bit low and some older 30+ players still too high its much better than I expected

I wonder if there is a growth curve built into the ratings so that guys like coniglio and zach merrett will grow throughout the season?
 
I'm led to believe that like the facescans that occured in 2015, the ratings are reflective of the 2015 season also. Fyfe cant be 3 clear points ahead of Dangerfield even last season if Fyfe wasn't injured they would've been tied. Luckily we can just change them ourselves!

I'm about to post an updated AFL Evolution Player ratings list for those who wish to change the ratings to a more accurate representation of the players abilities. I will post the lists in two ways. Sorted by rating alone and then sorted in ratings by team.
