Been browsing this thread for a while now and I must say im really excited

From that Eddie Betts screen shot I can tell the player modles will look great.

I reckon players like Ben Nason and Nic Nat will look great.

videoclips
mini games
create your own team
create your own player
draft / trade
coaching mode
Be a pro

I will know who to blame, the people on here who went to test the game and who went to contibute ideas towards the game.

They wouldn't be smiling so they can get a proper impression of his face. If he was smiling then it'd look stupid when he's constantly smiling while running around playing.

videoclips - Not needed imo, that's what youtube is for.
mini games - Never played them in previous games so I can't judge.
create your own team and player - Would love this, but if it only ended up being create a player it wouldn't bother me.
draft/trade - Definitely needed.
coaching mode - Could probably be implemented in the general season mode, but probably wouldnt be to the likes of manager mode in FIFA
be a pro - probably a bit of a massive ask, remember, this isn't EA, this is Big Ant, who would have a much smaller budget on the game than EA would on a game like FIFA

I enjoyed every single clip they had in premiership edition.

be a pro yeah maybe out of their depth but the top 6 suggestions need to be in the game. Its 2010 these days.

Realisitically though there is VERY little international market. Would be lucky to hit 1000 sales overseas really.

It'd be interesting to see what sort of sales HES are expecting for this title.

Huge i reckon. Judging by the amount of pre orders taken by our eastern state stores on Rugby League Live, AFL will smash pre orders and sales. RL Live has been going gangbusters for those guys. Especially with the promo they had going for it

In terms of Rising Stars they always have a fairness. Just to make sure it's spread out they always give a go to those who haven't necessarily been stand outs or what not.

Of course not. But I'm not saying the AFL is always fair. Just in nominations they tend to have a really wide sliding scale as to what someone will get picked on. For example Naitanui's nomination was a pretty average game.

Now I know that WCE fans will get in a tissy for me saying that, but I'm not saying he didn't deserve it, just probably not for that round. That is the example of them being fair in giving it to someone who didn't have a standout performance.

If they gave it to someone (and a different person) who was getting 20+ disposals each week then we would just be seeing midfielders getting it and nothing else.

According to the rules (read by Daniel Harford on SEN) a player has to actually have been suspended in order to rule him out of the Rising Star award winning process. Martin accepted a reprimand.

Martin definitely cannot win it, they changed the ruling a few years back so any offence which attracts 100 points makes them ineligible. He didn't get suspended because he accepted an early plea.

Yeah I know, that's what I meant by the wide sliding scale. Sometimes they reward someone for a good first game, sometimes they don't and go for consistency. It's all so they don't just reward the same type of players.

HI ROSS,

Can you give us some insight on some of the controls. Will there be multiple kicking styles and when you kick how will it work exactly? Will the ball go to a person in the direction you are facing or will things like mongrel kicks be incorporated and the user has to select the power of the kick?

Also, any chance of an online franchise? The one Madden NFL uses is pretty impressive (with the exception it has no training mode for the online team).
