Hows the commentary in the game does it flow like FIFA for example or does it still sound robotic like in earlier games. Eg. Dennis would say "Great goal by...."pause"...."Collingwood". lol

Yes. You could have up to 18 user playable sides.

Question, How many players can we create? Is there a limit.

From what I've read, we could effectively create a player based off of the draft and add them to our team in season mode. Is this correct?

- Create New players
- Trade players from team to team
- Control up to 18 teams in 'Season Mode.'

I'm going to trade some of the better Geelong players to Richmond, and some of the horrible players from Richmond to Geelong. Then simulate the whole season, and see where the two sides finish.

This is easily the best ever A.FL game without question already.

I take it from this, the release date will be late next year then if you're implying that GC Suns and GWS are in? GWS technically don't have a side yet.

my thoughts are that big ant have worked to get the gameplay right first before working on any off field features like a in depth manager mode.

from my impressions on the features list next years game will come out mid year with better off field features, which is the way to go.

i have not been more pumped for a game to come out ever!

No Gold Coast in the game or GWS, but the ability to create them = release late this year / early next.

Forgive my ignorance here but has Big Ant Studios ever been involved with the previous AFL games? if no, are you guys starting from scratch or have you simply taken over the rights etc for previous versions and are building on that?

While we have some staff here that worked at IR Gurus/Transmission, no one here was involved in the previous games.

This version has been built from scratch - that's why it's taking so long!

There is no draft at all.

You can simulate the draft by trading players/creating players.

You said that there was multiple seasons, but players can retire. You're saying that you can fill the roster spots by creating/trading players? Sounds like you're saying that you would have to create an entire draft class?

There are multiple season in that your record is stored and the players individual stat's are stored form season to season.

Players are retired by you just taking them off the club list.

Players are traded by adding them to another clubs list.

You can create a player and add him to any list.

If you just want to play the game for multiple seasons with the same players then you can. If you want to simulate what is happening in the real world then you can.
