Anyone notice melbournes song seems a bit different? Just doesn't sound like the current one. Ports song is also the old one that sounds a bit different and has port power in it instead of power. Not making a deal about it just wondering if people notice the demons song bein a bit different.

A couple things:
- I'd love it if I could use the goal kicking camera at anytime to assess what's up the field.

when do people feel is the best time to begin using the RS during a ruck contest? i try timing it so it's at the top of the bounce, but i always get slaughtered in hit outs.

last game i lost them 46-4 (could be because i'm playing as hawthorn though).

Really enjoying this game, good to finally have an AFL game back on the market! One thing that worries me and will hurt down the stretch will be the lack of Career Mode ie playing multiple seasons with trading and drafting. I feel it's taken some life out of the game and once the novelty wears off and I've flogged all I can out of the game, one feels that it's only a matter of time before 2k11 is back in the PS3 and AFL is only brought out every so often - which is a massive shame because I was looking forward to having Ablett, Judd, Pavlich and co in a red, white and black guernsey like in AFL 2005

Getting flogged and playing on the lowest difficulty setting,the AI tackling is too much it's bloody frustrating to even get a handball out.

its a bit hit and miss, but depends on the player and power of the kick etc, I bombed one from the centre square with Hurn, straight through the hey-diddle-diddle

Yes, the Melbourne song is definitely different. Noticed it immediately and it actually irritates me. It sounds shit.

To the people saying they are getting slaughtered, did you play at any play tests?

Because I played at two play tests, about 6-7 games in total and I found it pretty easy to pick this up and play on Professional. I spank every team on Professional, except Collingwood, I JUST got over the line against them by 4 points.

Stick with it a while longer, you'll start to pick it up quicker than you think.

Gonna move up to Veteran I think.

Yeh the Hawks don't ruck well in this which is pretty realistic

2 things - Try putting Bailey in for Renouf.....working wonders for me and will in real life eventually too And....Use the punch (hold L2/Left Trigger) more often.....it has a higher success rate than a normal tap.

I'm still just finding my flow in the game. You really need some fast reflexes in tight congestion....love it! Make sure to give the game a whirl with 'player select' set to manual in the controller options and let me know how you go guys...

On PS3 yes, on Xbox no.
