I've got $60 on Sydney to beat Richmond by over 10 goals. It's paying 6:1, veeeerry good odds.

I was thinking of betting on them for over 39.5 but decided to go for the safe option of over 15.5.

6.25 for Collingwood is pretty good odds although I would never bet against my own team.
They have a good record against Eagles in Melbourne and came close in Perth on recent occasions if I recall right. The game in Sydney must take its toll on Kerr and Judd. You rather have 6.25 on Collingwood than 4.85 on North Melbourne.

WC by under 19.5, get on it.

AFL betting is stupid, Essendon beat the Crows in Adelaide while Freo lose to Port at home but this week i like Freo @ $1.85

I also think people are overrating Brisbane's chances but that's just me.

Just out of interest, do you punch in the data yourself, and how long does it take to determine who you should bet on for one game? Anyway Essendon are available at at least the $2.00 mark.

Yeah, I do it all myself - probably takes about 15 minutes each round. Quite simple really, formulas do most of the work

I'm not going to touch the Bombers - it's a stupid superstition I have (yeah, I know I know ) but if they're not $2 on the early market that I bet with (this year IAS) then I just won't touch it.

Thinking about putting more on the Lions.

No Maguire, Ball or Riewoldt. Can get $2.65 at Sportingbet....

Brisbane at the line +14.5 @ $1.91with IAS looks great value. Too much speed and St Kilda probably wont kick a real big score even if they play well. Therefore the Lions will only have to kick around 12 goals to collect.

My stupid bet for the week was a tip 8. I picked both teams in every game except Eagles-Collingwood. Went on for half a unit at $64

Last week it paid $820 so i wouldv'e collected $410

Hoping for a few more upsets and hoping like hell the eagles win

My bad i was looking at round 20 instead of round 2 but still the record is played 4 times at the MCG for 2 wins a piece & the scores have always been close between these 2 teams so i put down $20 on the AFC to win by under 39.5 ....

Bulldogs open at 2.90 at half time, big overs if you ask me, got crunched straight away and is currently sitting at 2.58. gee you have to be quick don't you. there are opportunities there i think if you are quick out of the blocks.

Not to bad for myself this week.
The two bets at longer odds got up, so still made a pretty decent profit from the round.

Now if only the bloody horses would stop being so mean to me.
