For anyone confused, sportingbet are paying out on first AND second goal for FGS this weekend. Walker I just realised it said you need a minimum $15 bet for this... although somebody in this thread said they placed $5 bets and they still payed out on the 2nd goal.

Dons beat the Doggies last year in H & A, did they not? With that hack Knights coaching them? I don't understand the confidence surrounding the Dogs for round 1.

Carlton and Collingwood look to be the dead certs for round 1, but with only $1.07 on offer for Collingwood, I might have to do the unthinkable and back VI$Y to win.

Going with Watson > Cooney in SC points on Sportsbet @ $1.80. Watson is generally a fast starter to the season, Cooney notoriously slow and hasn't played any NAB Cup.

Thank God AFL is back, that's all I'll say.

Cooney scored 1 point for SC in the 2nd quarter, and hadn't touched the ball in the 3rd until after the 20 min mark. Watson will cane him.
