Not wanting to get picky with ya winty but, thanks to the AFL's sub rule, we were only 1 man down by my count. But I take your point.

Rutten started on him, and got destroyed pretty much straight awya. In short, they had no answer for Hawkins, who just monstered anyone.

Good game. I know the third quarter sucked, but we played wlel for three quarters, and a couple of weeks ago we were struggling to play well for more then one. Started off well, and against quality opposition; this was no Essendon on a downward slump. This was a decent inform side who annihilated us earlier in the earlier, and we comfortably beat them by a margin that flattered them.

Im confident the Corey omission will offset the likeliness of Roughead missing.

Two week hammy for Corey? Such a shame as his last three weeks have been very good and I would love his big body against the Hawks.

We should have enough talent to draw from and cover Corey - however it is a bigger loss than it seems given he was really hitting top form and given us a hell of a lot out of the middle.

Was a great effort... players acquitted themselves, and pretty much everyone played their part.

Younger guys contributed - love Sheringhams attack on the footy! Smedts player another good one, definitely finding his feet.

Happy to see Sloane didn't have a great impact (he played well, but not like his other games against us). Before our last game with Adelaide Harry Taylor on CatsTV did his usual 'Player to stop' video singling out Sloane, and then the kid smashed us... reckon it was a minor focus for this game.
