Gone with a yankee..

Western Bulldogs
West Coast
Collingwood
Brisbane
Adelaide

West Coast must beat Hawthorn for me to virtually see profit.

West Coast looks ike the best bet this week

West Coast 1.80
Hawthorn 2.00

Played at subiaco

NicNat dominated in west coasts game against hawthorn last year kicking 4 goals. Similar to how he dominates playing against essendon.

Only downside is they may be a bit down after the high intensity 3/4 of a game they played against freo.

gone:

$135 on BULLDOGS/COLLINGWOOD straight multi @ 1.50

also will put this multi on but the 24.5 pt handicap prices haven't been put out yet on sportingbet.

BULLDOGS
COLLINGWOOD
PORT +24.5
WEST COAST +24.5

should be paying about $2.80

might put my savings on brisbane...

fremantle tough game in the west now travelling to brisbane... sunday night game to saturday night game in the north... brisbane extra day off...

hmmm

Can You explain a yankee?

just say you have 5 selections...

its them outright so singles, doubles, triples, quads and 1 5 selection

so

1
1x2
1x2x3
1x2x3x4
1x2x3x4x5
1x3
1x2x3x5
1x2x4x5

etc etc lol

should be like 26 combinations...

:D

so if one loses your not completely out...

kind of like seperate multis ? :)

How does the pricing work?

I think i get it....

Please correct me if this is wrong....

If i put:

Bulldogs $1.26
Port Adelaide $2.06
West Coast $1.76

in a multi this weekend id get odds of $4.56

If I put $100 on it Id get $456.00... BUT all 3 have to win...

IF I put:

Bulldogs $1.26
Port Adelaide $2.06
West Coast $1.76

in a "yankee" and say one of them lost would you still get the combinations of the other 2 winners??

OK sorry to labour the point.

Im with centrebet and they have this thing called "boxed multi"

is that similar?

The one difference is they have this thing called a "banker"

Im guessing you can choose which result you think is a guarantee and revolve all other combinations around that bet.

You can also go with "no banker" and that gives you more combos and doesn't restrict you to the "banked" team losing unexpectingly and you are all out.

I think Im reading this right?? :p:p

for the games you (the OP) wrote:

Dogs
Eagles
Pies
Lions
Crows

There is:

1 x 5 leg multi
5 x 4 leg multis
10 x 3 leg multis
10 x 2 leg multis

So yeah im guessing as long as 2 of the teams win you get a return, the more after that the better.

Early thoughts:

WB into Brisbane
WB into Coll
Coll into Bris

Collingwood to cover the line also.

WC v Haw: I think WC should be shorter although if Mitchell comes back that is a big boost and from memory Hawthorn goes alright at Subiaco. But who is going to play on NicNat and Cox? I can picture the rucks tearing them apart. Probably going to have something small on WC.

I think the Dees are a huge chance this week. Will be the third game in 20 days for the Dogs, two at the Dome and they couldn't manage a goal in the last quarter against a side coming off travel and a 6-day break. Plus, the Dogs just aren't that good.

The Dees were shut down massively by North's pressure... I can see the Dogs pressuring the Dees and shutting them down too...

The Dogs will want to bounce back... Melbourne are no St Kilda...

Seems like everyone is thinking along the same lines. Although Collingwood and Dogs dont really bring much value to the table. A bit hesitant to be taking a 3-legged mutli paying only $2.2ish. I think Brisbane is the value pick of the bunch. Perhaps it is better to separate it into two separate multis where you get $1.85ish for each one. Eg: Coll + Bris and WB + Bris.

What do people think of that value as opposed to stacking up all 3?

i like fremantle to beat brisbane. Brisbanes midfield is mediocre and the way fremantle have been pressuring and running down elite midfields such as st kilda and geelong makes me think brisbane dont stand a chance.

I wouldn't call these blokes mediocre...

Black, Power, Rischitelli, Rich, Sherman, Johnstone.

Besides, have Freo EVER won at the Gabba?
