The AFL have released a limited amount of information re: player salaries:

There are 9 players set to earn $1M+ this year, none at Adelaide (West Coast have 2 million dollar players).

There are only 142 players earning $500k or more (and less than $1M) - roughly 8 per club. Only 23 players (1-2 per club) are earning $800k - $1M.

I think that this is interesting, given the way that people like to bandy around player salaries saying "players X, Y and Z are worth $800k" - in all likelihood there is only 1x (no more than 2) Crows player earning $800k (or more) in total.

I mean, 151 blokes earn more than 500k per year. Fair chance some of them are millionaires.
