AFL Theme Song

Do you think it’s time the AFL adopts it’s own theme song? The NFL is iconic with their song and I reckon we could surely come up with something?

What do you guys think? Could it be an existing song like we had on Channel 10 back in the day with Holy Grail by Hunters and Collectors?

I think it would add to the appeal and excitement of the game

But I reckon I could get around an AFL type theme song

What I’d ideally love is for an Aussie band to get 1 of their own songs on the coverage throughout the year and to get them to play the grand final.

there is a heap of talent in Australia and I’d love to see a band like Ocean Grove or Violent Soho given that chance over the more main stream options and old bands they go to every year!

For what purpose? The networks already co-opt a theme, and at the ground the club songs are played. Its the clubs most people are supporting, not the league.
