John Blakey never played for the Brisbane Lions, a club that was in existence when he played for North.

But hey, get the rule changed if you like. The kid should certainly at Brisbane more than this farcical Sydney scenario.

Ok? Chris Johnsons son is the one I was referring to.

Format's a bit off but, as it's in a code, hopefully it'll be a lot less of an eyesore.

Watched the WA 16s practice match against WAAFL Colts at Subi Oval last Friday night. Colts were outstanding against a team around 2 years older. See what happens in the carnival? Foley and Mallard (196 and 197cm) outstanding in centre and with marks, kicks and goals. Mozzie fleet great with Jetta, Schofield and Bellchambers stood out as well as all defenders.

It will be good to see the match up this weekend. I am heading along and have watched a bit of the SA kids who I think are pretty good. Therefore, it will be great to see how they go against WA. It is very difficult to tell just watching the kids from your own state but will definitely have a better idea after this weekend.

From a Freo NGA point of view it's good to see Joel Western among the goals and Brandon Walker named WA best, although i'm not sure why twin brother Chris didn't play.

How was Isiah Dudley? Notice he kicked a couple goals. Still very small but has some tricks. Durdin will be a gun (hopefully grows a bit)

He's doesnt have the same impact as Brandon does on a game.

The last couple of years he (Chris) hasn't been afforded the opportunity to play anything but ruck for Emmanuel CC, so he hasn't had the midfield development of his brother. His school coaches describe him as the pure athlete and Brandon as the footballer. I'm pretty confident with his amazing athletic ability Chris will catch up to Brandon.

Did you go to the game?
