Good teams manage to eek out a win when they aren't at their best.

There were questionable ump calls both ways.

Pugh's best game ever imo. Miller et al stepped it up big time in the last. Poor Jas Stewart didn't have her greatest game but very glad the girls got the win for her.

They need to think seriously about the G train. That girl has real talent. Big, mobile, a football brain and with a roost to end it all.

That was a tough game. Both sides were really strong at it. Collingwood dominated the clearances. Davey was awesome in the first half. Their ruck was too tall, although our girl had a good patch in the 3rd quarter. They had the best 3-4 players on the ground over the whole game. Lambert BOG.

We had a lot of individual contests where our players needed to stand up under pressure and they didn't let us down - and I think that's what won us the match despite the lopsided stat sheet.

Some softc*ck umpiring by the controlling umpire against both teams. Free kicks picked out in front of goal, then in the last quarter some clear ones let go without any decision.
