I think it is as I think Bastinac is terrible and I'm a fan of Tom Bell.. Doesn't mean Brisbane agrees of course :P

Why do you care about 'points' worth of picks? Do you actually have a father/son to select this year you need 'pick 21 in points' to get? Because if not it's useless to you and you'll struggle to offload it to another club for something of quality as there's more than enough picks already floating around to get all of the Northern clubs what they need.

You do realise that the points value is completely irrelevant unless you have an academy or F/S nominee right?

As it is, you got two late picks in a weak draft. Stop acting as if you somehow got a great deal.

Yeah the points have no bearing on that deal but in SnowRoo 's defence the Roos currently have 3 picks between 30 & 40 that would be very attactive as a package to get a higher pick from a club that needs academy or F/S bidding points.

Still don't think they get Aish but wouldn't surprise if they get back inside the top 20 with a bundle of picks.

You'd have to pay massive overs with those picks in order to get a trade done as clubs aren't going to help the opposition for nothing. Like giving up pick 10~13 in points (if using picks 35+) to get pick 18~20.
 
He has come out and said he wants to go to Collingwood and does not want to entertain moving to Roos or anyone else so, they have to deal with us or get nothing whilst he holds his ground.

Will they though? Academy and FS points have to be used in order, you can't just package a bunch of late picks together and maintain your early ones.

Sydney for example, would want picks before their second to get Mills without eating in to their second rounder. A combo of late 30's/early 40's won't do that.
 
Haven't read all the posts from the North supporter.
Lions would choose Bell over Bastinac 'cos Bell is going home to QLD.
Bastinac is a Melbourne boy I believe.

Pints don't count for you, you have no academy or father some so you have picks that if the experts are right are useless and the Hawks have two first rounders and can start to reload their list without giving up anything that impacts on them short term.

Every trade they do with you they smash you.

No, you are offering Bastinac plus those other picks which is equivalent to Bastinac + 21.
We are (will offer) 24 + 26 which is equivalent to pick 9.

I don't understand how you get to pick 8.

So as per my previous question is Bastinac plus 21 equivalent to pick 9?
