Wondering where Nick Riewoldt has got to, defending Alex’s right to free speech? Or maybe he prefers a certain kind of free speech

So not for “up Hamas, up Hezbolla” but waving a flag "in such a way or in such circumstances as to arouse reasonable suspicion that he is a supporter of a proscribed organisation".![]()
UK police charge Kneecap band member with terror offence
British police have charged Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, whose stage name is Mo Chara, with a terrorism offence for allegedly waving a flag in support of Hezbollah at a concert in London.amp.abc.net.au
Either way, Pearcey may have been reposting people who would go on to be guilty of terrorism offences. lol.So not for “up Hamas, up Hezbolla” but waving a flag "in such a way or in such circumstances as to arouse reasonable suspicion that he is a supporter of a proscribed organisation".

Either way he’s sticking up for not blowing up and starving kids, women, humans in general, that kind of thing. LoLEither way, Pearcey may have been reposting people who would go on to be guilty of terrorism offences. lol.
By quoting someone charged with terrorist offences. Bloody hell pearcey ya could’ve found other sourcesEither way he’s sticking up for not blowing up and starving kids, women, humans in general, that kind of thing. LoL
What a pisser. “Don’t look at us while we’re waving around flags of groups who exist for the sole purpose of the extermination of Jews! This isn’t about us!”
I’m tipping Pearce will be ok.What a pisser. “Don’t look at us while we’re waving around flags of groups who exist for the sole purpose of the extermination of Jews! This isn’t about us!”
Pull the other one
Yeah. People who support terrorism tend not to agonise over the ethical questionsI’m tipping Pearce will be ok.
do you think the murder of children is justified?Yeah. People who support terrorism tend not to agonise over the ethical questions
No.do you think the murder of children is justified?
i think it's a bit disingenuous to equate supporting a free(er) palestine with terrorism. knowing the history of the region (even vaguely) shows you that western hands destroyed the tribal and cultural identities long before this conflict had started.No.
Knee cap do. And Alex Pearce reposts them!
They support terrorist organisations and encourage crowds of people to do the same.i think it's a bit disingenuous to equate supporting a free(er) palestine with terrorism. knowing the history of the region (even vaguely) shows you that western hands destroyed the tribal and cultural identities long before this conflict had started.
i think that supporting the israeli government is akin to that, their unrelenting, proactive violence has done far more humanitarian damage than anything hamas or hezbollah has done. they have categorically lied and manipulated the media coming out of their country to garner sympathy from people blinded by their own racism towards non-whites.They support terrorist organisations and encourage crowds of people to do the same.
Will you please concede the point that displaying terrorist symbols to crowds is a bad thing?i think that supporting the israeli government is akin to that, their unrelenting, proactive violence has done far more humanitarian damage than anything hamas or hezbollah has done. they have categorically lied and manipulated the media coming out of their country to garner sympathy from people blinded by their own racism towards non-whites.
i simply don't think it's a terrorist symbol. let's talk about your diligent efforts to promote the censorship of first nations players who feel and express solidarity with expressed populations. it's pretty ghastly, especially knowing the history of australia and our countries own grim history with indigenous populations. Will you please concede the point that displaying terrorist symbols to crowds is a bad thing?
i simply don't think it's a terrorist symbol.
neither, now answer my question please.Hamas/Hezbollah?

Which?neither, now answer my question please.![]()
sorry, i'll requote it for you, using some simple language.Which?
If this is now a chat about whether “Jews should be allowed to exist” or “Hitler did nothing wrong and Jews deserve to be gang r*ped at music festivals” is the moral position to take, then that’s probably for another thread.
do you think that it's appropriate to try and censor an indigenous australian player for holding an opinion and sharing solidarity with people experiencing something similar to his own ancestors.
I think he should apologisesorry, i'll requote it for you, using some simple language.
i think he should be apologised to by the people running frankly racist and certainly culturally inappropriate hit pieces against him.I think he should apologise
I don’t want him “censored”, but it was right that he was called out for reposting terrorist lovers.i think he should be apologised to by the people running frankly racist and certainly culturally inappropriate hit pieces against him.
it's alarming to see you think that it's okay to censor the voices of people simply speaking their own mind and their own truth, coming from a place of understanding, having had ancestors experience similar atrocities at the hand of colonisers.
but all you've been saying is that he should walk it back, apologise, doff his cap and say sorry and beg for forgiveness from the same kind of people who'd be enforcing the white australia policy. do you think that indigenous australian's should live their lives solely based on not offending the people in privileged positions within our society and societies beyond australia?I don’t want him “censored”, but it was right that he was called out for reposting terrorist lovers.
