GM lebron

Report: Cavaliers Trading Two First-Round Picks to Nuggets for Timofey Mozgov
Thick necked Russian to get boards and protect the rim, not a bad get for two picks they got from other clubs.

Hell, I'd all but forgotten about Nick Anderson at the line.

Bet Nick Anderson never has...

Houston has benefited from some choking at the line. Barkley choked two free throws to seal the series against us the year before (I think) led to a three pointer to send it to OT and a Rox victory and we ended up taking the series 4-3 and the NBA title against the Knicks. I wonder if our poor free throw shooters now are some sort of karmic revenge.

Come on Golden State.

Andrew for Finals MVP.

5 years I said LeBron would end up better than Jordan and while he is on course, I am sick of him being a Social Justice Warrior w***er.

aussies firing up these sooks the last couple of days....

just when you thought our commentators are bad, watch the nba, strewth a few personal agendas there.

charles barkley, the voice of reason... who would have thought.

I am sick of him being a Social Justice Warrior ******.

? What has he said?

He wont be better than Jordan, just watching the last possession of these two games shows the gulf between them. That is before you take into account the removal of the physicality Jordan played through on thw defensive end. That being said LeBron is miles infront of anyone else in the league.

Golden state have had a dream finals ride so far with calls and opponent injuries without any significant problems but even with the luck the cavs have completely outplayed them in the first two games with lebron on a mission to win for cleveland. I cant imagine golden state getting close if it were thompson who broke a knee cap in game 1. Some of those no calls at the end on james today were a disgrace as well and could have altered the result.

Meh on those no calls. James is up there with harden with leading with your arms/wrists/elbows into the defenders body then crying out for the foul. Harden and James are the benefit of plenty of calls they shouldn't get in those cases so I won't feel sorry for them when they get some no calls. Harden tends to lead with his forearms , with James if you watch his elbows when he initiates contacts he always puts them into a player. A very good player no doubt , but when you initiate as much contact as he does don't whinge when they catch your elbow. ( obviously the Iggy swipe in the wrists was a shocking no call) but some of the drives the commentators thought could have been called as fouls I'm happy to see a few not get paid there.

The drives were ok the swipe and jump ball were terrible. The swipe would have been iggies 6th so it did change the fame not calling it, it was a stupid swipe.

Watched the last quarter and a bit of the third today (and double overtime on Sunday) and Dellavedova was fantastic, first shutting down Curry over 3 quarters, and especially that shot when it was 81-80 when the Warriors had came back from 20 pts down and he nailed a shot being pushed and launched it as he was failing over and the "Q" crowd went ballistic.

Some great tweets out there.

Blatt just had a good line: "Delly is as Cleveland-like an Australian as I have ever met in my life."

But this stat in Skip Bayless' tweet is amazing considering how great the others are. LeBron James has shot a record 123 pts for the first 3 games of the finals but

If he had converted 30% of those missed shots he would be averaging 55 pts per game. His stats for the 3 games are

http://heavy.com/sports/2015/06/lebron-james-stats-in-nba-finals-game-3-points-assists-rebounds/
Game 1 (108-100 loss):......... 44 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists in 46 minutes
Game 2 (95-93 overtime win): 39 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists in 50 minutes
Game 3 (96-91 win):............. 40 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals in 40 minutes

Five years after James’ notorious departure from Cleveland, he has the Cavs within two wins of their first NBA title — and the city of Cleveland’s first title since the Browns won the NFL championship in 1964.

Will have to watch Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith on First Take tonight on ESPN and listen to their on going debate of where they rate LeBron James.

Missed shots are all about context. They aren't bad misses, a few forced but he's taking the shots you want him to take and he has to take now they are down Love and Irving, there's a good 35 shots from the starting rotation that he would otherwise not have to take. You don't give the shots out in the NBA to anyone who you don't think will hit them and there's only one place left to assign the extra offence, lebron. Let him go to work no one can stop him, giving him extra looks is also creating open shots for the team mates to. Delly has been good, today he was better offensively, he had some bad turnovers in game 2 near the end but they won so got away with it.

Yeah he talked about that in his presser, re Irving and Love not being around, said he didnt really want to have that many shots, didnt want to miss that many shots but in his presser said several times - you gotta do what you gotta do to win. I guess its more the amazing amount of work he has had to do.

Havent watched any pressers these finals figured it would be more of "Did you think Dellavadova was capable of doing x"

I think Cleveland is playing as expected once Irving went down, it is more of the NBA iso ball that we dont see anymore but used to be the norm.

Yeah, nah. Not even close to being 'on course'.

Lebron:

Jordan:
And that's with him taking 2 years out of the game in his absolute prime to try his hand at baseball after the murder of his father. Maybe he'll be on course for all-star appearances and finish with more NBA MVP awards. I don't care how good LeBron is, he'll always be second to Jordan. Doesn't even come close. 6 rings, 6 finals MVPs. Scoring champion AND defensive first team at the same time, 9 times. GOAT.
